All aboard: Follow along live as Ole Miss finalizes the class of 2020 on National Signing Day

Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin and his staff will complete their first recruiting class in Oxford today as high school prospects across the country sign letters of intent for their college choices.

The coaching staff has been out on the trail since Kiffin was hired, focusing on maintaining the class of 2020 prospects who were committed to former coach Matt Luke while adding the best talent possible from all over the country.

Ole Miss held the No. 41 recruiting class in the country as of Tuesday night, but that ranking could rise significantly in the next 24 hours. 

Thirteen recruits have already signed their letters of intent with Ole Miss, including four-star edge Demon Clowney and four-star outside linebacker Jakivuan Brown.

9:30 a.m.-Cedric Melton signs with Ole Miss

Cedric Melton, a three-star lineman out of Houston is the No. 126 offensive tackle in the nation according to 247Sports. Melton took an official visit at the end of January.

9:30 a.m.-Marcus Henderson chooses Arkansas over Ole Miss

Henderson is a four-star lineman from Memphis University School, ranked as the No. 15 offensive guard in the nation. Ole Miss was one of two finalists, but Henderson chose to go with Arkansas on National Signing Day.

9:30 a.m.-McKinnley Jackson signs with Texas A&M

Ole Miss wasn’t among the top finalists for the four-star defensive lineman, but Jackson is the top-ranked Mississippi prospect and the Rebels could have used depth at that position with veterans like Josiah Coatney and Benito Jones graduating.

10:15 a.m.-Daran Branch flips from Ole Miss to UGA

The three-star defensive back out of Louisiana committed to Ole Miss in November, but picks up the Georgia cap on NSD.

10:26 a.m.-Brady Ward commits to Ole Miss

The Rebels get another three-star offensive lineman for the 2020 class. Ward is a 6-foot-7 tackle out of St. Paul’s Episcopal in Mobile, Alabama. He also had offers from Arkansas, Indiana, Oklahoma and several other power 5 schools. He’ll grayshirt and go on scholarship in December.

11:36 a.m.-Henry Parrish joins stacked running back room

Parrish will join Jerion Ealy and Snoop Conner in the impressive Ole Miss running back room. The four-star tailback out of Miami is the No. 18 back out of the 2020 class. Parrish held offers from Florida, South Carolina and many other schools.

12:15 p.m.-Donovan Kaufman stays with Vanderbilt

Ole Miss pushed for the three-star DB late but ultimately couldn’t flip him.

12:40 p.m.-Luke Shouse officially signs with Ole Miss

The three-star offensive tackle from Brentwood, Tennessee was committed to the Rebels for a while and officially inked his LOI today. He joins Cedric Melton and Brady Ward on the offensive line class of 2020.

12:45 p.m.-Malachi Wideman chooses Tennessee over Ole Miss

The four-star wide receiver was one of the most sought-after prospect for Kiffin and his staff today. Ole Miss, Florida State and Florida were also finalists for the Florida receiver. Wideman took an official visit to Oxford last month.
