Jerrion Ealy commits to Ole Miss over Clemson

The No. 3 player in Mississippi has chosen Ole Miss over Clemson, Alabama and Mississippi State.

5-star running back Jerrion Ealy picked the Rebels live on ESPN2 Wednesday, becoming head coach Matt Luke’s highest-rated player in the 2019 class. He’s comes in as the No. 3 running back in the country, and the No. 3 overall player in the state of Mississippi.

Ealy doubles up as a two-sport star and is expected to play baseball for the Rebels if he ultimately decides to attend Ole Miss. Ealy is currently the No. 18 ranked prospect by MLB.com for this summer’s MLB Draft.

Should he chose to play for Ole Miss, he would be a huge boost to both the football and baseball programs. However, Ealy may decide to skip college altogether in pursuit of a professional baseball career.
