Transit of Mercury: Watch Mercury pass in front of the sun, a once-in-a-decade event, through a telescope today. This event takes a few hours and is visible through telescopes only. The next time Mercury passes in front of the sun will be in 2032. Admission is free, and the event is open to the public.

‘1984’ by Aquila Theatre Company: The Aquila Theatre Company’s production of ‘1984,’ based on the novel by George Orwell, will open for one night only. Tickets range from $25-30.
