Alice McKelveyIt’s the last week of the school year, and it’s also Pride Week. One of the best things about living in Oxford is its inclusivity. The LOU community does a fantastic job of building up and supporting its citizens that are a part of marginalized communities. This week we’ve got a playlist of songs made by artists who are part of the LGBTQ community. Frank Ocean, Screaming Females, G.L.O.S.S., Perfume Genius and more are featured on this playlist. There will be celebrations all week long sponsored by Code Pink and the Sarah Isom Center for Women and Gender Studies as well as a pride parade Saturday on the Square. Be sure to show your support and study hard for finals next week.
